Cradle to Cradle Certified™

Cradle to Cradle Certified™ is a globally recognized measure of safer, more sustainable products made for the circular economy.

Product designers, manufacturers and brands around the world rely on the Cradle to Cradle Certified Product Standard as a transformative pathway for designing and making products with a positive impact on people and planet.

Detox Campaign

Greenpeace launched its “Detox My Fashion” campaign in July 2011 to address this problem, asking the textile industry to urgently take responsibility for its contribution to toxic pollution.


DETOX TO ZERO by OEKO-TEX® enables manufacturers in the textile chain to assess the status of their chemicals management systems and the quality of their waste water and sludge and to have these documented through independent verification. The result of DETOX TO ZERO by OEKO-TEX® is a status report which can confirm compliance with the goals of the Greenpeace Detox campaign or the ZDHC MRSL requirements.


ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® is an independent certification system for chemicals, colourants and auxiliaries used in the textile and leather industry. During a multistep process, we analyse whether each individual ingredient in the chemical product meets the statutory requirements and that it is not harmful to human health. Both brands and manufacturers value the ECO PASSPORT as credible proof of sustainable textile and leather production.


The EU Ecolabel is a label of environmental excellence that is awarded to products and services meeting high environmental standards throughout their life-cycle: from raw material extraction, to production, distribution and disposal. The EU Ecolabel promotes the circular economy by encouraging producers to generate less waste and CO2 during the manufacturing process.

Fairtrade Standard

The Fairtrade Textile Standard is one component of the greater Fairtrade Textile Programme to facilitate change in textile supply chains and related business practices. This comprehensive approach engages manufacturers and workers in the supply chain to bring about better wages and working conditions, and engages brands to commit to fair terms of trade.


FSC® certification traces wood through the supply chain, thereby ensuring that the fibres are not produced by destroying endangered forests but in a way that environmentally ethical, socially beneficial and economically viable manner.

GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard

GOTS covers all organic fibres along the supply chain (from production to processing and ultimately labelling of the final textile product.

International Organic Accreditation Service

IOAS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the integrity of ecolabel claims in the field of organic and sustainable agriculture, environmental management, social justice and fair trade. They work internationally to assess the competence of organisations providing certification to ‘sustainability’ standards such that producers can work in a fair environment and consumers can trust the products bearing these labels; our contribution to a more sustainable and fairer world.
