Jordanna is the founder of AMBIO-N (CircularSource). A previous management consultant and now the owner of a B2B procurement platform for circular materials, Jordanna has found great value in mapping circular economy thinking to her digital solution for apparel industry. Confronted with the devastation and waste of apparel industry at the outset of her career she has aimed to address waste across the supply-chain and is an advocate of reuse of resources already in circulation.
Jordanna has an Exec MBA from Oxford University, Masters in Finance, Trade and Shipping from Cass Business School. Prior to AMBIO-N Jordanna worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, for 8 years as a management consultant and acted as COO for 3 technology platforms. She took a sabbatical in 2012 to study textiles at Parsons School of Art & Design. She has also owned her own luxury goods company which she established in the UK, and had listed across all major retailers in London.
12 years’ consulting to board level audiences in wholesale finance (with a focus on FX) and managing a team of analysts for banks, brokers and technology firms including Deutsche Bank, ICAP, Thomson Reuters, The Bundesbank and HSBC. Over 80 bespoke projects for clients across the globe (UK, US, Europe and South Africa), working with and delivering to all business levels. Software architecture and project management of CRMs (e.g. HSBC), and FX Trading Platforms (e.g. Standard Chartered), domain-driven architecture ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g. Traiana). Jen is excited to turn leverage her COO accomplishments to AMBIO-N’s software platform.
An original founder, and enthusiast of the SDGs, Renata advises AMBIO-N on their financial modelling, alongside Alan Glass. A former CFO in a listed private equity corporation actively engaged in the divestment cycle of the business, structuring and executing eight M&A transactions including follow-ons, turnarounds, restructuring, and buyouts of distressed investees. Renata has an MBA from Oxford University, degree in Computer Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, portfolio manager licensed by the Brazilian securities commission, and ESG Investing certificate by the CFA UK.
15 years’ architecting and developing web and cross-platform software for Enterprise, SME/SMB and Start-ups including Diageo plc, The British Parking Association, Globus Family of Brands, Greene King, First Great Western, Brandon Hire, London Borough of Newham, Speedy Hire, Schneider Electric, HSS Hire and the United Nations Capital Development Fund.
Solutions deployed are used by tens of thousands of employees, police officers, public servants and third parties. Ben has turned his attention to develop digital tools to advance industry’s acceleration towards a more sustainable footprint.
Feilicity has recently graduated with an MSc in Sustainability Management & Innovation (Distinction). She has gained most of her career experience as Head of Sales in the commercial furniture and fitout industry, in both the UK and Australia. A strategic thinker with proven change management skills, she is now motivated to combine her passion for sustainability with her business management skills to lead positive change within the textile industry.
Teesta has taken on the role of Head of Partnerships for India and ESG, for AMBIO-N (CircularSource). Her work in schools based out of urban slum dwellings in India, made her see over time the immense havoc wrecked by poor waste management systems, to ultimately result in hazardous living conditions.
With an experience of 10 years in the social impact space, she is an alumni of the four country ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) network based in Germany that contributes to a global network of sustainability experts from Mexico, South Africa, Germany & India. Passionate about conservation, waste management and ESD, she has also worked as a sustainability consultant with WESSA in South Africa and briefly co-founded an ethical luxury clothing brand specializing in peace silk from North East India.
Nafeesa is our Conservation Science Advisor for anything wildlife-related and our Africa regional Ambassador/Representative for sustainable and circular materials. Nafeesa is an interdisciplinary conservation scientist with a pragmatic entrepreneurial perspective. She is an Imperial College London (MSc Conservation Science) and McGill University (BSc Applied Zoology) alumnus, with over 10 years experience across NGO, government and private sectors. She is has been and is involved in many conservation projects and business & biodiversity approaches, related to illegal wildlife trade, natural capital, blue economy, sustainable agriculture and human-wildlife conflicts. She currently leads conservation finance and social science for CORDIO East Africa to support effective co-managed marine areas. Nafeesa recently worked at the University of Oxford (with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Conservation Science and Oxford Martin School) and is an Ideas 2 Impact Fellow at the Oxford Saïd Business School.
Daniela has taken on the role of business development for the UK, for AMBIO-N (CircularSourceSM). She has also seen firsthand the devastation of pollution caused by industry and is an advocate of a circular economy to discover business-driven solutions.
Daniela is a Skoll Scholar at the Skoll Center for Social Entrepreneurship with extensive experience and insights on impact businesses. She has 11 years of experience in emerging markets across Asia and Eastern Europe. Her passion for circular strategies was born while studying for her MBA at Oxford University.
